Michelle St Claire is an award-winning editor known for working across a wide variety of styles, and ability to bring almost abandoned projects to completion. She has been the primary Post-Production Tutor at the Academy of Film, Television, and Theatre since 2016, and has been working as a freelancer for both Narrative and Commercial content since 2014.
Some of the more notable projects include the feature film 'Kairos', which went on to receive numerous accolades for its cerebral editing and portrayal of downs syndrome, and co-hosting the podcast 'Rating Descending'. In 2023 she was nominated by the Australian Screen Editors Guild for "Most Outstanding Early Career Editor"
Her work has frequently focused on inclusive storytelling, genre fiction, educational content, and technical excellence even at low budgets.
